Ingredients
- 6 cups mini pretzels
- 4 cups Rice Chex or Corn Chex cereal
- 2 cups mini marshmallows
- 1 cup red M&M’s
- 1 cup blue M&M’s
- 12 ounces white chocolate chips or vanilla candy melts
- 2 tablespoons coconut oil (optional, for smoother melting)
- 1/4 cup red, white, and blue sprinkles
Instructions
- In a very large bowl, combine the mini pretzels, Chex cereal, mini marshmallows, red M&M’s, and blue M&M’s. Gently toss to mix evenly.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate chips (or candy melts) with the optional coconut oil. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring well after each, until smooth and fully melted.
- Pour the melted white chocolate over the snack mix in the large bowl. Use a large spoon or spatula to gently fold and stir until all ingredients are evenly coated.
- Immediately sprinkle the red, white, and blue sprinkles over the coated mix, ensuring good coverage while the chocolate is still wet.
- Spread the entire snack mix onto a large baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a silicone mat in a single layer.
- Allow the snack mix to cool completely at room temperature for about 1-2 hours, or place it in the refrigerator for 15-30 minutes to speed up setting.
- Once hardened, break the snack mix into clusters and pieces. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to one week.
