Ingredients
- 2 packs instant ramen noodles (discard seasoning packets for this recipe)
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce (or hoisin sauce for vegetarian option)
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp sriracha (or to taste)
- 1/2 tsp sesame oil
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup chicken or vegetable broth (or water)
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions, for garnish
- 1 soft-boiled or fried egg, for serving (optional)
- Sesame seeds, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Cook ramen noodles according to package directions until al dente. Drain well and set aside.
- While noodles are cooking, prepare the sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, brown sugar, sriracha, sesame oil, minced garlic, and broth/water until well combined.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium heat. Add the cooked and drained ramen noodles to the skillet.
- Pour the prepared sauce over the noodles and toss continuously for 1-2 minutes until the noodles are fully coated and the sauce has thickened slightly.
